Søren – pronounced Sir´n
I completed my master at University of Roskilde (RUC) as a Cand. Techn. Soc. in what seems like ages ago. I have always worked with negotiations and various forms of conflict resolution.
If I have a particular professional passion (aside from doing his job properly), it is to support the application of new knowledge about negotiation and conflict resolution in society and its institutions. Exciting new insights constantly emerge from researchers and practitioners, i.e., negotiators, who strive to create valuable and sustainable progress in various contexts.
I try to contribute by participating in research networks; by teaching, writing books, giving lectures, and advising in all sorts of possible and impossible situations.
My latest book, "Collaboration and Constructive Negotiations," targets both managers and employee representatives and has become a widespread standard guide for negotiators.
Over the past year, I have delved into a rabbit hole named AI (artificial intelligence) to advise on how the introduction and use of this new technology can be negotiated and also used as assistance in negotiations and conflict resolution.
This stretches my attention from the very close human encounter to a view of future scenarios that are here sooner than we expect.
